A Diamond in the Roughage

Robbie Spencer, one of my favorite fashion stylist so you know, styled this editorial back in April. I've never spoke on it on my blog, but I thought why the hell not. I'm so in love with the creativity and uniqueness it brings. I love how overall the editorials come to life! Adore Robbie! My secret stylist crush!

So yes I'm talking and blogging about April editorials, but hey...it was my birthday month and I was busy with other things. I would like to say that I love the couture manner Robbie takes on when doing what he does best. Back in April, he styled Vogue Italia Beauty cover and spread. It was playful and colorful. Which I love from him. When you check out his previous styles it tends to be more on the dark side, but lately its been slowly getting some light. Which I adore most.

Seems to me like Robbie would have a great relationship with Richard Burbridge, the photographer of both spreads and cover. Photos via models.com

Remember Ann Ward, ANTM winner. Well her fashion pages has finally apeared in the March issue of Vogue Italia. Congrats on the spread Ann. It looks...different, I'm gussing because of the orange wig.

Saturday Story

Alice Gentilucci's story for Vogue Italia back in Sept. 09' was amazing. As you know I love the story behind editorials, but this spread was great. I loved all the styling and great use of props and stage setting.

Vogue Italia: Alicia Keys

So Alicia Keys did a recent editorial spread with Vogue Italia. I adore the glam of the photos. I love the hairstyles, which a few of mine I could see in some of the photos, but it doesn't matter because I love it. The styling was cute, not overly excited because It felt as if the black and white photos didn't belong, but still kept my eyes wondering. I love the stage set. It was very dreamy. But check out the photos below and tell me what you think.

Couture Editorial

So I wasn't a big fan of Vogue Italia, but recently I've grown to love it, study, and learn it. I was looking back at its past editorials, and I love them. I get this story from each one and it sings back to me, very fierce I might add. If you could remember back in March 10', the cover story for Vogue Italia at the time was flawless. I love the mixture of masculine and feminine spreads, and this spread of one of those spreads.
