Alexander Queen Bee?

Alexander McQueen's Spring 2013 RTW collection was the buzz around Paris fashion week. The collection was inspired by a honey bee colony, truly epic if you ask me. I really adored the details in the garments but the concept itself was a bit overwhelming. I did enjoy the accessories, the bags and of course the shoes! I could see myself in every piece. The head pieces were cool as well, a bit of an hideaway net. I truly think it was original and a buzzing masterpiece.

McQueen Shade

Sarah Burton through shade to the masses darling in her Fall 2012 RTW collection! I absolutely adore the detail work throughout the entire collection and the shades are epic. Style.com added "The show's progression from pure white to the grandest possible finale of red and black felt like a journey from innocence to experience". I would agree...but for now get into those shades...if that's what they are.

Met Gala 2011 BEST DRESS!

MET GALA 2011
"Best Dressed"

10. BeyoncĂ© – Wearing Pucci looking fabulous. It’s just too damn tight. But nether less she looks FIERCE.

9. Sarah Jessica Parker - Wearing high-necked sparkly gown by Alexander McQueen. I loved the classic details of the gown, plus I think the color tone of the gown was perfect for her skin tone.

8. IMAN – Loving this bold statement. Met Gala is the super bowl of fashion! IMAN can to win. Wearing a bronze and gold embroidered long sleeve Stella McCartney jumpsuit.

7. Anna Dello Russo – Wearing an Alexander McQueen suit. I loved everything, even the egg hat. It was different and it was FASHION. I love risk takers, and because she took and risk and most normal folk won’t understand, she makes my list just for that.

6. Emma Roberts – Wearing a Michael Kors gown with the cut out on the side. This was a trend that night with also MK wearing Kerry Washington too. I loved the pure innocence in the gown. I loved the shape and her overall grace.

5. Renee Zellweger – In a lovely Carolina Herrea gown. I loved that when one is on a red carpet and photographers are taking photos from the right and back one must make sure that both sides look amazing, and for that reason alone Renee had a beautiful dress that had a plunging v cut in the back which I personally think was super sexy.

4. Gisele Bundchen – In of course Alexander McQueen. She looked like a stunning modern day American Princess, even though she isn’t American. But I thought this over the top gown by McQueen was so fab on her. Only Gisele can pull this off and look amazing.

3. Eva Mendes – Loving the deep royal blue pleated silk Stella McCartney gown. I LOVE it.

2. Diane Kruger - In a Jason Wu design. Jason did an amazing job with this gown. Its flawless in every way and Diane is wearing it to kill. Great JOB!

1. Christian Ricci - In Zac Posen. I love the drama and the nice lace and black and sheer number from Zac. This is sexy, its couture, its EPIC!  Oh and her waist…TINY!

Met Gala 2011 Pre Selections

I'm sure many of you are excited just as much as I am about this year's 2011 Met Gala, and the red carpet ceremony. From Designers to celebrities and models all come out and show support for the Costume Institute Gala in New York to celebrate the fashion industry. Each year has a theme and this year they are celebrating Alexander McQueen whose team also just designed Princess Kate wedding dress. I can't even imagine the eye rising that will be going on this year, because I'm sure many of the guest will be rocking "The Rebel Leader" Alexander McQueen. I also think other designers like Givenchy and Elie Saab might make strong appearances on the red carpet...I would hope so, too much McQueen could be an over kill.

MY FAVORITE PAST GALAS BEST DRESS PICKS & My styling opinions for this year's red carpet.

Stella McCartney
2009, design by Stella McCartney

Stella is great for making pants suits look amazing, I think she should go with this Alexander McQueen Spring 2011 look.

Rihanna
2009, wearing Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo

I think she should go very bold but beautiful! To be honest I don't think RiRi is a McQueen girl, she is a big fan of Elie Saab, so I do think this dress from Elie Saab Spring Couture 2011 collection would be perfect.

BUT...if she do go with McQueen, this would be perfect.

Gisele Bundchen
2008 Design by Versace

She should come to kill the game and snatching wigs and all that ish, I think this Spring 2009 couture gown from McQueen, well not gown but more of a skin tight piece...I do think this will make people notice her!

Alexander McQueen designs Kate Middleton's Wedding Dress

Kate Middleton 1
Like any royal wedding, the gown is just as important as the event. It was rumored that Alexander McQueen's new creative director Sarah Burton is likely to design the dress! This would be really high couture stuff here. I don't think the fashion world is ready for this epic history moment. Sadly the house of Alexander McQueen denies all rumors, but you never know. Could you just vision a wedding gown inspired by his recent collection?
