Haute Couture FALL 11'

Jean Paul Gaultier: I would like to add that JPG is great at what he does, and his vision proves through the extraordinary pieces. Not only do I love the mixes, I adore the play on leather, feathers and of course fur. Overall grade A.

Elie Saab: Elie is truly one of my favorite designers behind Coco Chanel of course. But the pieces are always amazing and jaw dropping. Its very feminine with a high level of elegance. "Saab’s gowns were adorned with Swarovski crystals and sequins which truly made the dramatic silhouettes and plunging necklines sparkle. Adding lace-works to the runway in the form of flirty skirts and dresses; the collection contained wearable options to offset the sumptuous glamour." Glamour darling, Glamour. Overall grade A+

Valentino: Another favorite designer of mine. He just gives classic and timeless pieces that is full of elegance. I do adore from his latest couture collection is the detail work, and of course the classic lace. I was suprised by this collection, seems different from what i've normaly seen from this couture house, which is a good thing. Overall grade B+

Chanel: Hmmm very dark i must say, but of course with its classic statments from the original view point of miss coco herself. I do love that about Karl. He keeps the ending vision of Coco Chanel always in the collections. Hated the boots! Overall Grade C.

Dior: Huge dan of the Dior couture collections, but this collection...hmmm. This is the first haute couture collection not designed by John Galliano in fifteen years, so the difference shows. I'm speechless, i love the color tone but the collection was very child's play. Its not as bad as everyone picks it out to be, but I do say it brings lots of light on the John Galliano sistuation. Overall Grade B+
